About Vesna
Registered as a psychologist since 2004, Vesna is a caring and compassionate psychologist dedicated to helping others navigate life’s challenges. She adopts an evidence-based approach and has a special interest in brief treatment, helping individuals achieve their goals in as few sessions as needed.
Vesna completed her undergraduate training at Macquarie University and holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney. She was awarded the Australian Psychological Society Clinical Psychology Student Prize in recognition of her clinical practice, research, and coursework. Vesna has gone on to complete PhD research on remote therapy and brief interventions for the treatment of Generalised Anxiety Disorder after being awarded a Research Excellence Scholarship. Her research was formally recognised by the Australian Psychological Society in 2024 with the Award for Excellent PhD Thesis in Psychology.
Vesna also holds a Master of Organisational Psychology from Macquarie University and enjoyed a career spanning over 15 years in the field of corporate psychology and management consulting with McKinsey and Company before pursuing her passion for clinical practice.
She is passionate about shaping the next generation of psychologists and shares her expertise as an adjunct lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology, Sydney. Additionally, Vesna is a Psychology Board of Australia-approved supervisor, offering comprehensive guidance, mentoring, and formal supervision to provisional psychologists and clinical registrars, ensuring their professional growth and development.
